Our Story

One Love Lane first opened its doors in July 2020.

Since then we have fast gained a wide reputation for being Cambridge’s most beautiful, inspiring and Instagrammable salon with a passion for making all of our client’s salon experiences an amazing one, every time.

The vision began in 2012 when the One Love Lane founder and owner, Charlotte (you may know her better as Rapunzel Rocks) started her career in Hair Extensions. Her business, passion and reputation grew to the point that One Love Lane became a real possibility - The dream was born.

We have an incredible team at One Love Lane and are so proud to be able to offer almost everything you could require under one roof.

The main parlour area is where our super talented Hair Extensions Specialists and Hairdressing crew live. We also have a Hollywood lit, super glam makeup station and a gorgeous quartz top nail bar.

We have two of the prettiest treatment rooms, which are home to the highly recommended beauty and aesthetics departments.

On top of all of this, we have a unique photo wall to showcase your finished result - the new you!

    Having worked in Cambridge City Centre for most of my career, I have gained a very diverse clientele and extensive knowledge in all aspects of hairdressing.
    I have over 23 years experience and specialise in Corrective, Creative, low-maintenance colour. I am insanely passionate about my work and have the most prestigious level of colour-correction knowledge and a colour degree with Wella.
    This passion and knowledge led me to fulfil a lifelong dream and I
    was head-hunted in 2011 by a well known, 7 salon group and their very successful Art Team.
    I became an educator at the Wella Studios London, Manchester and Dublin, presenting on stage at large seminars & educational courses.
    I competed in the British Hair Awards for Colour Technician of the year and my collection was 1 of 6 in the final in the UK!
    My work has also been published in various editorial magazines and high street Hair magazines and gained me some very well known clients.
